singlegirl's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good News! I have lots of good news to share! First off, as most of you know, I�m going to be an aunt. My brother and dreaded sister-in-law are due at the end of October (and speaking of my dreaded sister-in-law, we saw each other for the first time since our �fight� this week and we both acted like it didn�t happen. I even went out of my way to hug her at the end). Anyway...I found out today that I�m going to have a niece. I�m very excited about it, which surprises me. Not that I�m not happy for them, but this is the first time I�m excited for me, you know? I get to see the 3D ultrasound soon. I haven�t seen one before, so I can�t wait! Secondly, I�m getting out of my craptastic apartment and I�m renting a house!!! This is something I�ve dreamt about for 5 years! My move out date is July 22nd! It has a garage (no more scraping windows, but now I have to shovel my driveway), a deck which gets full sun all day and it�s just so cute! And I get to keep Clyde and he has a yard! It�s also much closer to my friends and family and I�ll be back in the neighborhood I grew up in. [edit]I posted photos on my flickr accout. Click up there to see them! Of course now I�m obsessed with decorating ideas. I think I want to do a light shade of blue in the kitchen and a tan in the living room � they are separated by a counter, but are essentially in the same room. Any tips/thoughts on decorating would be appreciated! Thirdly, we are going to have amazing weather this weekend and the pools open on Saturday. I�m forgoing the Indianapolis 500 to spend 4 full days in the sun at the pool. I�m going to be so dark when I get back to work on Wednesday! I can�t wait! 4 days? Yes, I have Tuesday off too! I�m going to go home tonight to clean my house so I can just relax and bake all weekend.
