singlegirl's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Boring, Part II Well, I sort of lost 4 pounds. I DID lose 4 pounds, but I�m sure I gained some of it back after yesterday�s eating extravaganza. This is what I consumed yesterday afternoon and evening: McDonald�s Quarter Pounder and medium fries, half bag of popcorn, half container nachos and cheese, half bag of Reece�s Pieces, and thin crust pepperoni pizza (4 slices!). I blame it on Jeremy and on being hungover. Jeremy was all about the McDonalds, which is what started it all. And, I was hungover yesterday, which makes me want to eat everything in sight (okay, so now I need to stop drinking too). I�m not giving up though, I�m eating healthy today and I�m not going to obsess about yesterday. Jeremy and I went shopping yesterday for our new apartment. I got a new comforter, sheets, towels, a shower curtain, and other accessories for $100. It�s not my favorite style (the comforter is thin bright yellow, gray-blue, and sage green stripes, and the bathroom rugs and towels are sage green), but it wasn�t too expensive, which is really nice. It looks fine, but it wasn�t what I originally pictured. Oh well. We get our keys tomorrow and we�re going to clean and paint tomorrow night. I�ve only packed 2 boxes (one of �knickknacks� - candles and that sort of thing, and one of movies and CD�s). I haven�t done anything else. I hate packing and unpacking � moving really sucks. But, I�ll be busy this week � my goal is to have everything moved (except for the big furniture) by Friday night. That way, on Saturday we�ll just have to make a few trips with the U-Haul and we�ll be done. We bought paint for our living room and kitchen. I hope it looks good, but again, my roommate and I are not good at this sort of thing. We�re going to paint one wall (the kitchen and living room share one wall) a bright green. The rest of our apartment (including our couches) is white and our furniture is a light oak. Our fireplace tiles are even white � it�s almost blinding. Our kitchen rug, towels, and placemats are a bright blue. We�re going for a bright sunny look, but it may turn out very tacky. We�ll see. Aside from my eating binge, my weekend was pretty uneventful. I worked a little both days, I saw Harry Potter, and I went out with my friends Saturday night. Ho hum. At least this week will be busy, and there�s some new shows on too � Simple Life, The Casino, North Shores, and The Newlyweds.
