singlegirl's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Fire in August I say this every week, but I am so ecstatically happy that today is Friday. This weekend should be busy, but fun. Tonight Jeremy and I are going to work out and then meet friends out for a few beers. Tomorrow we�re going to work out and then go to the pool all day. Tomorrow night we�re going to stay in because we�re going to start drinking at 9 am on Sunday. Sunday will be fun because not only do we have free tickets and a free ride, but we also have a police escort to the track. Sunday night will be worthless. We�ll be tired, hungover and very sunburned. Yay! Jeremy and I have been good about eating healthy this week. So far at work, I�ve turned down cake, ice cream and fruit cobbler. Good God, no wonder I have a weight problem. It�s a wonder all the employees here aren�t incredibly fat. Several of them are pregnant though, which isn�t the same I realize, but they do have food cravings. Is anyone else addicted to Big Brother? I�ve never watched it before this season, but I have to say, I�m absolutely hooked! I watch it 3 times a week �and it never gets old. I haven�t been this addicted to a TV show since...the first season of 24, which sadly wasn�t that long ago. Jeremy tried to be romantic last night. He bought firewood and attempted to light a fire. First off, is a fire in August ever romantic? Plus it was still a little light outside when he got it going. And, because keeping the fire going became a personal vendetta, I spent 90% of the evening alone on the couch watching TV while he was fiddling with the damn fire. Oh well, at least he tried...I did get a full body massage on Wednesday night though. Now, that�s romantic. Okay, could my life be anymore boring (and yes, I said that in the Chandler Bing way)? At least I�m going out and drinking tonight. A cold pitcher of beer sounds so good.
